Warranty Concierge

Following the possession of your Kimberley Home, the Warranty Concierge will be there to guide you through the warranty period of your new home. The Warranty Concierge, powered by Master Craftsman Warranty (MCW), is a dedicated expert who will address all of your warranty needs in a professional and efficient manner. The Warranty Concierge will receive your warranty requests and work with you to schedule warranty work visits, as an extension of your Kimberley homebuilding experience.
MCW is a highly respected company providing warranty services to home builders for over 45 years. MCW utilizes their over 100 years of combined construction/warranty experience and expertise to enhance your warranty experience.

Warranty Information and Request Forms

New Home Orientation

Every Kimberley homeowner has an orientation with their site superintendent on possession day. We know that your possession day is packed full of excitement, activity and information so in addition to this orientation on possession day, the Warranty Concierge will work with you to schedule a second (optional) new home orientation at a later date with a technician. Your technician will provide a tutorial on the usage and maintenance on items like your Thermostat, Furnace, Sump pump and more.

General Warranty Request

These are issues that require attention prior to or following the year-end warranty visit which occurs approximately 12 months after your possession date. Please submit your form via email to the Warranty Concierge: kimberleywarranty@mcwarranty.ca

Please note: these requests are typically for more urgent items that could cause damage to your home if not addressed in a timely manner.

3 Month Warranty Visit

Your 3 month warranty visit happens approximately 3 months after your possession date. The 3 month warranty typically consists of two appointments. One to to assess your warranty items submitted via the 3 month warranty request form and a second appointment is to repair all items covered under warranty.

Your Warranty Concierge will contact you directly to schedule your 3 month warranty visit. Following this call from your Warranty Concierge, please submit any items you would like reviewed on your warranty visit via the 3 month warranty request form and email to the Warranty Concierge: kimberleywarranty@mcwarranty.ca

*The 3 month warranty visit has been implemented for Kimberley Homes possessed as of January 1st 2021

Year-End Warranty Visit

Your year-end warranty visit happens approximately 12 months after your possession date. Year-end warranty typically consists of two appointments. One to to assess your warranty items submitted via the year-end warranty request form (examples such as door handles, hinges, loose carpet, and year-end drywall repairs consisting of nail pops, cracks or shrinkage). And a second appointment is to repair all items covered under warranty.
Please note: Painting of drywall repairs in not included as per Industry Standards.

Please submit any items you would like reviewed on your warranty visit via the year-end warranty request form and email to the Warranty Concierge: kimberleywarranty@mcwarranty.ca 2 months prior to your year end date

Notes for Year-End Warranty Requests:

  • Once a warranty request has been received by the Warranty Concierge, you will be contacted within 2 business days to arrange an appointment.
  • Warranty appointments are available Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm, with limited evening appointments.
  • Once the warranty request has been received and scheduled, please refrain from adding additional items to the list.
  • All year end warranty requests must be submitted before the 12-month deadline (preferably at 10 months) to ensure all items can be covered under warranty.
  • MCW adheres to the Alberta Municipal Affairs Performance Guidelines as provided through Alberta New Home Warranty.
