EPISODE 1 – STAKEOUT

In this episode, we head on-site to Liane and Zach’s property for the stakeout day. This is the date we determine where their custom Kimberley home will sit on their acreage property, and where we will begin excavation. You’ll also learn a bit more about the process of finding land for an acreage build and how our team is here to help you choose the perfect spot to build what you want, where you want.

 

EPISODE 2 – INTERIOR SELECTIONS

We join Liane and Zach, along with our interior decorator Elysia, for one of the most exciting parts of your Kimberley homebuilding experience – the interior selections process!

By the end of the interior selections day, our clients will have finalized almost EVERYTHING when it comes to finishing touches – cabinets, paint, railing, tile, flooring, fireplace details, and more.

 

EPISODE 3 –
ELECTRICAL WALK-THROUGH

We’re back on site at Liane and Zach’s – and there has been a LOT of progress on their Kimberley home since the last time we were here! Once the home is framed our clients have their electrical walk-through, which you will learn all about in this episode.

We meet with our clients and the site electrician where they will choose where they want their lights, pot lights, plug placements, sound systems, security systems, and more.

 

EPISODE 4 – FINISHING &
PRE-TILE WALK-THROUGHS

Welcome back to The Diary of an Acreage Build series! In today's episode, we are back on site to check out the finishing work and do one final walk-through before possession day.

Lauren tells you what you can expect in this stage of the process and the custom items that Liane and Zach chose for their home.
