3 New Schools in Southwest Edmonton
Over the past two decades, Kimberley Homes has participated in numerous Southwest Edmonton communities as families made the move out to the suburbs. From Heritage Valley communities like Chappelle and Jagare Ridge to the Windermere communities of Ambleside and Keswick on the River, this desirable area of Edmonton has seen rapid growth.

As of Summer 2021, there are three new schools either under construction or planned to start construction within the next 2 years.
Joey Moss School K-9 Public School
Only a few weeks ago, the name for the K-9 public school was announced. Named for famed Edmonton sports figure and role model Joey Moss, the school is set to open in the Keswick area of Edmonton in Fall 2022.

K-9 Catholic School
Laura Thibert, board chair of Edmonton Catholic Schools, applauds the province’s choice of Keswick for a new 950-student facility which should be ready for the 2023-24 school year.
Dr. Anne Anderson Public High School 10-12
Dr. Anne Anderson School in Heritage Valley will accommodate Grades 10 and 11 for the 2021-22 school year, with Grade 12 anticipated for the 2022-23 school year.
The high school has been built to accommodate about 2,000 students, but there is room for an addition that would increase capacity to approximately 2,500 students — something the Edmonton Public School Board predicts will be needed in less than five years from now.
All neighbourhoods in the Heritage Valley area, as well as the rural land located south of the city will be designated to Dr. Anne Anderson School.
